MEMBERSHIP Policy

Last Updated: 7th July 2026

Welcome to MAD'B (Make A Difference in Business). This Membership Policy outlines the rules, expectations, rights, and responsibilities of all members. By joining MAD'B, you agree to abide by this policy and contribute to a respectful, trusted, and thriving business community.

1. Our Community

MAD'B is a private, invitation-only business community for entrepreneurs, business owners, startup founders, investors, and professionals. Our mission is to build meaningful relationships that create long-term business opportunities, friendships, and mutual growth.

2. Invitation-Only Membership

Membership is available exclusively through invitations from existing MAD'B members. Every application is reviewed by the Founding Team to ensure the applicant aligns with the values and culture of the community. An invitation does not guarantee membership.

3. Membership Cap

To preserve the quality of relationships, each MAD'B city chapter is limited to a maximum of 250 members. Each chapter operates as an independent, close-knit community while remaining part of the larger MAD'B network. Once a chapter reaches its 250-member limit, new applicants for that city will be placed on a waiting list until a membership becomes available.

4. Eligibility

Applicants should generally meet one or more of the following criteria:

- Business Owners

- Startup Founders

- Entrepreneurs

- Investors

- Company Directors

- CXOs

The Founding Team reserves the right to approve exceptional applicants outside these categories.

5. Membership Fee

Members are required to pay the applicable monthly membership fee.

Your membership includes:

- Access to all monthly networking events

- Unlimited food and drinks during monthly events

- Business promotion opportunities

- Access to the private MAD'B community

- Member networking opportunities

- Invitations to exclusive MAD'B experiences

- Other benefits introduced by MAD'B from time to time

Membership fees are non-transferable.

6. The MAD'B Principle

Every member is encouraged to help fellow members whenever reasonably possible.

This includes:

- Referring business opportunities

- Recommending fellow members

- Promoting member businesses

- Making valuable introductions

- Sharing knowledge and expertise

- Supporting member events and initiatives

MAD'B encourages collaboration but does not require mandatory referrals or business transactions.

Members should recommend one another only when they genuinely believe it is appropriate.

7. Code of Conduct

Members are expected to:

- Treat every member with professionalism and respect.

- Maintain honesty and integrity.

- Build relationships before seeking business.

- Respect confidentiality.

- Avoid aggressive selling or spam.

- Represent themselves and their businesses truthfully.

- Create a welcoming environment for all members.

8. Confidentiality

Members may have access to business ideas, financial discussions, investment opportunities, and personal introductions. Such information must remain confidential unless the owner has given explicit permission to share it. Trust is the foundation of MAD'B.

9. Member Behaviour

The following behaviour is not permitted:

- Harassment or discrimination

- Misleading or fraudulent conduct

- Repeated unsolicited sales pitches

- Misuse of member contact information

- Bringing unapproved guests

- Creating conflict or disrupting community events

- Conduct that damages the reputation of MAD'B or its members

10. Event Attendance

Active participation is essential to the value of the MAD'B community. Members are expected to attend at least 8 of the 12 monthly events each calendar year.

New members are required to attend their first three consecutive monthly events following the commencement of their membership. This helps new members build meaningful relationships, understand the culture of MAD'B, and integrate into the community from the outset.

Members are also expected to:

- RSVP before events where required.

- Arrive on time whenever possible.

- Respect the venue, staff, and fellow members.

- Conduct themselves professionally throughout every event.

11. Guest Policy

Guests may attend only when:

- Invited by an existing member.

- Approved by the Founding Team

- Registered before the event.

Guest attendance does not guarantee future membership.

12. Membership Renewal

Membership renews monthly upon automatic payment of the applicable membership fee. Members may cancel their membership by providing notice before the next billing cycle.

13. Suspension or Termination

MAD'B reserves the right to suspend or terminate any membership if a member:

- Violates this Membership Policy.

- Acts dishonestly or unethically.

- Repeatedly disrupts the community.

- Harasses other members.

- Fails to uphold the values of MAD'B.

- Damages the reputation of the community.

Where practical, members may be given an opportunity to respond before a final decision is made.

14. Intellectual Property

The MAD'B name, logo, branding, website content, event formats, and community materials are the intellectual property of MAD'B and may not be reproduced or used without prior written permission.

15. Changes to Membership Benefits

MAD'B may introduce, modify, or discontinue membership benefits, events, or services from time to time to improve the member experience.

16. Amendments

This Membership Policy may be updated periodically. The latest version will always be available on the MAD'B website and will become effective upon publication.
